Macbook Air review

Steve Jobs announced the “Macbook Air” at the Macworld Expo 2008. At 12.74″ wide, 8.9″ deep, max 0.76″ high and weighing 3 lbs Macbook Air is probably the thinnest and lightest laptop around.

Features:

  • Built-in iSight camera, speaker and microphone
  • 13.3″ LED backlit screen
  • Multi-touch trackpad that supports two-finger scrolling, pinch, rotate, swipe, tap, double-tap, and drag capabilities (like the iphone)
  • 1.6GHz or 1.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 80 GB hard drive, 2 GB DDR2 SDRAM
  • 802.11a/b/g compatible and built-in Bluetooth 2.1
  • Manufacturer claimed battery life of 5 hours
  • A port hatch that flips down to reveal a USB 2.0 port, a headphone jack, and a micro-DVI port
  • No optical drive

Starting at $1799 it may be worth the price.

rssHugger.com review

While googling for different ways to promote my blog, I found rssHugger. I found the concept interesting.

Basically, rssHugger is a place where blog readers find interesting blogs. So naturally it is good place for bloggers to promote their blogs. A blogger can get his/her own page on rssHugger for ten years that can display the blog’s rss feeds.

There are two ways to get the page:

  1. Give a review of the rssHugger on your blog.
  2. Pay a one time review fee of $20.

They have a Top 100 section that lists the included blogs in the order of most viewed. There is a random blog and new rss feeds section too, so no one is left obscure which is cool. The search section is a blog search directory. It has blog listings organised into various categories.

Using rssHugger bloggers can leverage the power of online viral marketing. It is also a good way to build deep back-links. The benefits for the readers is that they can subscribe to various blogs on different topics that interest them all in one place. All in all, I think it’s a innovative idea, one that can be useful in driving traffic to your blog.

Dreamhost Promo Code

If you looking for a cheap and reliable web hosting plan then I would recommend dreamhost. I have been using dreamhost for over a year now without any problems. Some hosting companies may be cheaper but offer less features and may not be reliable.

On www.hosting-promo-code.net, you will find dreamhost promo code CASHANDDOMAINS that gives you $50 off web hosting plans plus two free domain registrations.

Some dreamhost features:

  • 500GB Disk Storage (automatically increases by 2GB/week)
  • 5TB monthly bandwidth (automatically increases by 40GB/week)
  • Unlimited MySdql databases
  • Unlimited number of domains can be hosted in the same plan
  • Unlimited pop/imap email accounts
  • 1-click installs (Wordpress, MediaWiki, Joomla, Gallery and more)

You can try it for yourself and if you don’t like it you still have 97 days for your full money back.
