Motorola announced its new Moto Rokr E8 at CES 2008 in Las Vegas. Its size is 115 x 53 x 10.6 mm and weighs about 100 grams which is decent for a cellphone. In fact it can be called slim.
Features:
“ModeShift” technology keypad: The keypad displays different controls in different modes like phone (usual set of digits), music player (play, pause etc.), camera (zoom in and out).
“FastScroll” navigation: iPod-like wheel that allows scrolling through songs, contact and image library by sliding a thumb.
“Haptics” feedback: vibration feedback to give the feeling of clicking a button when you touch the touch-pad controls on the keypad.
Steve Jobs announced the “Macbook Air” at the Macworld Expo 2008. At 12.74″ wide, 8.9″ deep, max 0.76″ high and weighing 3 lbs Macbook Air is probably the thinnest and lightest laptop around.
